Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidhyalaya University

The aim is to offer unique educational programmes combining teaching of traditional Sanskrit and integrating them with modern scientific education. The University's emphasis is not on mere acquisition of knowledge but on all-round personality development of the student.
 
With this aim in view, the University has set up departments for various branches of modern scientific knowledge, like, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Medicine (Human, Veterinary & Plant), Biotechnology, Genetics, Computer Technology, Business Administration and the like.

Its three distance learning programme cells at Pammal, Tambaram  Kalpakkam  offer undergraduate gprogrammes in Sanskrit, manement & computer fileld.
