In order to get admission into an Engineering / Architecture course, a candidate has to appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET) Karnataka.
Examination is being conducted in a single day in the following subjects:
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
*Kannada Language Test
* The Kannada language test is conducted in the CET Bangalore premises. This test is conducted for only those candidates, who claim government seats and whose mother tongue is Kannada.
Important: The CET Cell will not conduct Aptitude Test for admission of candidates to Architecture course. The candidates who wish to opt for Architecture course should compulsorily appear for NATA Test conducted by the Council of Architecture.
Question Paper First Paper: The examination for this paper will be held in first session. This paper will contain 120 questions from Physics and Chemistry. The duration of examination is 150 minutes. The maximum marks allotted is 120.
Second Paper: The second paper is Mathematics of 80 minutes duration. This paper carries 60 questions of 60 marks. The examination will be held in second session.
Syllabus
The question papers of the Common Entrance Test (CET) Karnataka will be based on the First and Second year PUC revised syllabus prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.
