Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) Assam University
Introduction
The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam conducts Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission into 4-year B. E. programme in various faculties of engineering in different engineering colleges of the state.
There are two government engineering colleges in Assam. These are the Assam Engineering College, Guwahati and Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat.
The Director of Technical Education, Assam, will publish the merit list based on the results of the Joint Admission Test, and candidates will be selected in order of merit from the list.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes or any other categories must also appear in the Joint Admission test. They will, however, be selected against the quota reserved for them, according to merit.
