PTUCET - Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test

For Admission (2007) in Engineering / Pharmacy colleges affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar / Punjabi University, Patiala / Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar

It is to inform all concerned that Combined Entrance Test (CET-2007) shall be conducted on May 26, 2007(Saturday). Residents of Punjab desirous of taking admission in Engineering / Pharmacy colleges affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar / Punjabi University, Patiala / Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar must appear for this test.

Students who are not residents of Punjab and want to claim 15% quota reserved for such seats must fill out application form. However, they are exempted from appearing in this test. They shall be considered as per their merit in AIEEE - 2007 examination.

How to Apply:
The Information Brochure cum Application from Brochure will be available in all affiliated colleges of PTU/ DTE. Sector-36, Chandigarh, Punjab (Chandigarh)/ participating Universities and selected branches of PNB & IDBI. The cost of Information Brochure is Rs.500/- at counters and Rs.550/- through post.

Submission of Application:
Each Candidates desirous of taking CET-2007 is required to send his/ her application on the prescribed application form along with the examination fee through a Bank Draft for the prescribed amount. Candidates must write his/ her name, address and the application form number on the back of the Bank Draft.

Note: The candidates who are appearing in the 10+2 examination shall also be eligible to appear in the entrance test. The admission of such candidates to the Entrance Test shall be purely provisional and shall stand cancelled. If they fail to qualify in the aforesaid examination and such candidates shall have no claim whatsoever for the admission to these courses. Confirm all details from the Government notification in the prospect.
