Centre of Excellence - IIM Kozhikode

The Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Development Department of the Government of Kerala has entrusted the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode with the responsibility of incubating a Centre of Excellence, which will focus on enhancing the competitive abilities and skills of candidates from SC and ST communities. Recognizing that candidates from such communities do not have adequate access to resources to enhance their opportunities for higher professional and administrative careers, this Centre will seek to address this disadvantage by providing professional competence building programmes, communication and personal effectiveness training modules, and facilitating the candidates' access to information and knowledge. A Learning Centre, an Information Technology Centre, and a Communication Skills Development Laboratory will support these activities.
