Paper-based Testing (CBT)


TOEFL PBT (TOEFL Paper Based Testing) has three sections plus a 30-minute writing test i.e. TWE (Test of Written English).

TWE (Test of Written English) is required for everyone who takes the paper-based test.

Paper Based Testing has three sections: (a) Listening Comprehension, (b) Structure and Languages and (c) Reading Comprehension

(a) Listening Comprehension measures the ability to understand English as it is spoken in North America.

(b) Structure and Language measures the ability to recognize language that is appropriate for standard written English.

(c) Reading Comprehension measures the ability to understand non-technical reading matter.

PBT Test Centers
There are no paper based test centers in India.

If you believe that you should not be required to take the TOEFL test, please write directly to the institutions to which you are applying.
