ELIGIBILITY

Education:

• For admission to the MBBS/BDS courses through the Haryana Premedical Entrance Test candidates should have passed 10+2/ with PCB and English with 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate.
• For admission to the BAMS Courses candidates should have passed the 12th standard with at least 50% (pass marks for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate (33% mark in each subject separately). Candidates should study English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Sanskrit at the 12th standard.

Residence:

Candidate should be either a bonafide resident of the state of Haryana or a child/ward/dependent of the employees of Indian defense services /Paramilitary Forces belonging to Haryana at the time of entry into their service.

Age:

For the MBBS/BDS Course candidates need not be below 17 years of age on 31st December, 2007.

Application Form

The Haryana PMT form can be obtained by sending a request along with a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, MDU Rothak payable at State Bank of India, MDU, Rothak Branch.

It can also be obtained from the Maharishi Dayananda University publication cell on payment of Rs. 1000/-. One can also download the application forms from the MDU website- www.mdurotahk.com

Test Pattern

The Haryana Premedical Entrance Test will be of 3 hours duration and will carry maximum marks of 720 consisting of objective type questions from physics, chemistry, zoology and botany. Each correct answer would add 4 marks and a wrong answer would deduct 1 mark.

Schedule of the test

Last date of receipt of Application Form: 21st May, 2007.

Date of Entrance Test: 10th June, 2007.

Date of Declaration of Result: 11th or 12th June, 2007.
