Reaching Guwahati

Railways

Trains from all major Indian destinations (Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, etc) and other neighboring areas connect Guwahati.

Roadways

You can reach to Guwahati following NH - 31, NH - 37 and NH - 40. Guwahati is a three hour drive from Samdrup Jongkhar; Bhutanese Border town.

Airways

The campus is approximately 10 K.M.s from the Borjhar Airport.

Direct air services of Indian Airlines, Air Sahara, Deccan Air, Spice Jet and other major operators are available. International flights are also available to Guwahati. The airport is approximately 20 Km from the city center.

Reaching IITG

About 20 K.M. from the main Guwahati railway station. Though there is a local Amingaon station also nearby, but most of the important trains connecting Guwahati with rest of India do not stop here presently.

The Institute is located in northern part of the city. Local transport comprises of city bus Tata Sumo's and auto-rickshaws.
