XLRI - Admission and Fees

Candidates to the various post-graduate programmes of XLRI are short listed on the basis of an all India Test conducted by the institute every year – Xavier Admissions Test (XAT). The test is being conducted by the institute for more than 50 years. For appearing in XAT a student need to be a graduate (10+2+3) from a recognized university.

The XAT scores are used not only by XLRI but also by various reputed B-schools of the country for the admissions in their institutes. The test comprises of 3 sections.

  • First section is Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability questions.
  • Second section consists of Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Data Interpretation questions and
  • Third section contains General Awareness Questions.
  • For each section, a candidate is given 40 minutes.

The institute provides hostel facility to its students. There is separate residential accommodation for boys and girls.

Refunds

Students would be refunded only the amount that they made towards the Refundable deposit at the time of admission. All other fees would be forfeited even if a student withdraws the admission from the institute’s rolls or is dismissed by the institute.
