Educational accreditation is the evaluation of an educational institution or program by an independent body of professionals Accreditation helps ensure that regardless of the institution or department’s mission, the academic offerings meet standards set by the accrediting body.
Accreditation is a process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented. Quality Education: The quality of education in accredited institutes is much better than unaccredited institutes. It helps meet local, state, national, and appropriate international requirements. You can’t opt for PhD or any research work if the institution is not accredited.
Financial aid opportunities: Students are only able to obtain financial assistance if the institution they are attending has got the accreditation from government recognized bodies such as AICTE, NBA.
Job Options: Most employers prefer to hire job applicants who have gained their education from accredited college or university.
National Board of Accreditation (NBA), the only authorized accreditation body in the country to undertake accreditation of technical education programs was establishment in September 1994 by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a statutory body of the Government of India.
