NATA Registration Process

NATA 2017 Registration Process

Once you obtain the NATA 2017 application form from any of the designated ICICI bank branches, you need to register for NATA. The NATA application/registration form should be submitted to the test centre where you wish to take the test. You need to schedule the date/time of the test at the test centre itself. Appointments for the test are made on a first come, first served basis. Candidates should register well in advance to get their preferred test date. Make sure you carry the following documents along with you:

An attested copy of your class 10 or equivalent exam mark list
A recent passport-sized, colour photograph pasted on the registration form
An attested copy of any valid document of identification bearing your photograph and signature
A valid email address (in case you don’t have an email ID, you should create one)

Appointment voucher

After you successfully register and get an appointment, the test centre issues you an appointment voucher that should reflect your candidate ID, appointment number and exam key. You would need the appointment number and exam key to log in for the test.

You should cross-check this voucher carefully for any incorrect information/spellings. Once you register, no corrections are possible – you would need to purchase a new registration form and get registered again.
The appointment voucher has two counterfoils. You need to sign the counterfoil in the presence of the hall supervisor during the test (not before the test) and hand over the same to him/her.

While registering, you must insist the appointment voucher be handed over to you. If any test centre refuses to issue the voucher or asks for any additional fee, please report it to the Council of Architecture or its academic unit, NIASA immediately on mail “[email protected].”

When you register for NATA, remember to:

Register well in advance to get your preferred date. During peak admission season, the test centres fill up quickly.
Schedule your test as early as possible to ensure that your NATA score card is ready in time to be submitted at the time of applying for admission.
Check that the spelling of your name matches with the name printed on the identification document(s) that you will present at the test centre, otherwise you will not be permitted to appear for the test.

Note: Candidates can’t reschedule or cancel after they’ve made an appointment for the test. The NATA test fees will not be refunded under any conditions.
