Prime Minister Modi will distribute approximately 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits via video conferencing on June 13 at 10:30 a.m., according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The appointment letters will be disseminated as part of the government initiative Rozgar Mela. The Rozgar Mela will be conducted at 43 locations across the nation on Tuesday. Recruiting is taking place in departments of the Central government as well as state governments/UTs supporting this initiative.
The new recruits, selected from across the nation, will join the various government departments, such as the Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways, Department of Audit and Accounts, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Home Affairs, and others.
The Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfilment of the prime minister’s pledge to give the utmost priority to job creation, according to the statement. It is anticipated that the Rozgar Mela will serve as a catalyst for the creation of additional jobs and provide meaningful opportunities for youth empowerment and participation in national development. More than 400 e-learning courses are available for ‘anywhere, any device’ learning format on the iGOT Karmayogi portal’s Karmayogi Prarambh online training module.
