Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab (LTSU) launched two new B.Tech programs on Thursday. The programs are:
The programs are unique in their focus on live projects through project-based learning (PBL). Students will study core and high-end technologies for 2.5 years, followed by live projects from industry in the next semester and one year of on-the-job deployment in industry.
To be eligible for the IBM program, students must have a minimum of 70% marks. The eligibility criteria for the Employability.life program is a minimum of 60% marks.
LTSU has tied up with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to provide easy, collateral-free financing to students. The university aims to admit 6,000 students this year across all its courses.
In his speech at the launch event, Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Chancellor of LTSU, said that the university is committed to providing students with the skills they need to succeed in the future. He also said that LTSU is working with leading industry partners to ensure that its graduates are job-ready.
