IIT Guwahati and ICWA have signed an MoU to collaborate on international affairs and foreign policy. The agreement will be valid for three years and will focus on expanding awareness and knowledge of these topics in India.

The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is also the President of ICWA, announced this collaboration during his address at the 25th Convocation of IIT Guwahati. Jagdeep Dhankhar said that the collaboration would give the institute a “window to the world of a different nature.”

The collaboration will include:

  • Intellectual development: The MoU aims to develop the knowledge and understanding of international affairs and Indian foreign policy among stakeholders in universities, academic institutions, industries, and other partners located in Assam.
  • Research: The MoU will also facilitate research on international affairs and foreign policy. This research will be conducted by faculty and students from both IIT Guwahati and ICWA.
  • Events: The MoU will also support the organization of events and workshops on international affairs and foreign policy. These events will be open to the public and will provide an opportunity for people to learn more about these topics.
