IGNOU opens enrollment for undergraduate programs for Agniveers of Indian Air Force

Applications for the skill-based bachelor’s degree programs offered by IGNOU in partnership with the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force are now open.

IGNOU opens enrollment for undergraduate programs for Agniveers of Indian Air Force
Registrations for these courses have started from August 1.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has partnered with the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force to offer skill-based bachelor’s degree programs to Agniveers. The programs consist of 120 credits, with 60 credits offered by IGNOU and 60 credits offered by the Armed Forces as in-service skill education. The skill courses offered by the Armed Forces have been approved by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).

The goal of this partnership is to help Agniveers earn a bachelor’s degree while in service and improve their employability after service. Applications for the programs are now open at ignou.ac.in.

Here are the five courses offered under this partnership:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Applied Skills) (BAAS)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Applied Skills) Tourism Management (BAASTM)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Applied Skills) MSME (BAASMSME)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Applied Skills) (BCOMAS)
  • Bachelor of Science (Applied Skills) (BSCAS)
