JMI 2017 – Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university situated at National Capital of India; New Delhi. The university constitutes several departments and faculties for the teachings of both technical and non technical subjects. Faculty of Engineering & Technology is one such department of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).
The department offers several programs in different engineering scientific and technological disciplines at diploma, graduation, post graduation and research level. The programs are offered on both Full Time as well as Part Time basis. Courses offered by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi are approved from governing bodies like All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, University Grants Commission (UGC) of India etc. The admission to all the programs is made on the basis of entrance examination.
The Department of Engineering & Technology – Jamia Millia Islamia conducts separate entrance examination for separate streams of study. The candidates after passing a course from Jamia Millia Islamia can work under different government and private agencies. Both the repute and earnings are quite high for these candidates. In the past, many candidates has earned accolades both in India and abroad and placed the self, the institution and the country at great highs
JMI 2017 Application Form
Faculties and Centers of Jamia Milia Islamia have invited applications for the various courses being conducted for the academic session 2017-18. The Prospectus and Application Form can be downloaded from the JMI official website : http://jmi.ac.in starting from December 10, 2016. Applicants must only fill the application form that is downloaded from the JMI website. Application form downloaded from no other website will be accepted by the University. The prospectus must be read thoroughly before filling the application form.
The Admission Forms will be sold from December 10, 2016 on all days, barring Sundays and any Holiday. The admission forms will be available at the counters of M/Ss Maktaba Jamia Ltd on payment of the requisite fees as may be applicable.
Given below is the cost of application form for the various faculties/centers at JMI
- For Faculty of Engineering & Technology : INR 550
- For courses in Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics, Dentistry, Education(BEd & ETE) only, AJK, MCRC, and Center for Management Studies : INR 500
- For undergraduate courses for faculties in Humanities & Languages, Socila Sc, Natural Sc, and MCA & PGDCA, Pg Diplomas in Remote Sensing & GIS Applications/Digital Cartography, and MA course of Live centers where there is Common Entrance Test : INR 300
- For Courses in Faculties & Centers Other than those as specified above: INR 200
