Applications have been invited by the Charles Wallace India Trust (CWIT) for scholarships for Indian students who are already pursuing a career in fields like Academic, professional and Artistic courses and enables them to spend time in the UK.
CWIT is named after Charles Wallace (1855-1916) who lived in Calcutta and gave rise to the Shaw Wallace Company. In over thirty years, CWIT has offered over 2700 grants to qualified Indian students who are studying in Great Britain. British Council gives valuable administrative guidance and support to CWIT.
