National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai offers following study programs in management:

Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) – This program nurtures young managers capable in designing better procedures and systems and managing related technologies successfully. PGDIM inter-mingles classroom work and hands-on industry internship.

Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM) – This program trains students in making systematic approach for the evaluation of environmental, social and economic impacts. Besides classroom teaching, focus is given on industrial visits, practical case studies, industrial guest faculty, presentations and management games.

Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology & Management (PGDITM) – Information Technology is the technology of 21 Century, its changing the world and making impact on every walk of life. This program prepares students in understanding and managing newest technologies when the information is transferred at the fastest rate. The program focuses mainly on three main areas, viz; IT enterprise management, knowledge and information management, and Internet and Web technologies. 

Eligibility Criteria – Candidates who have completed bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering / technology may apply for admission into post graduate management programs in NITIE Mumbai. The eligibility criterion in brief is mentioned below:

For PGIM, PGDITM and PGDISEM Programs:

• First class Engineering/Technology graduates in any branch with CAT qualification. SC/ST candidates receive 5% concession on first class % marks.
• Candidates, who are currently in their final year of Engineering/Technology degree can also apply, provided they expect to complete all their exams and other requirements for obtaining the qualifying degree before June 30.
• Reservation for SC/ST and Handicapped candidates is as per Govt. Rules.
