The Russian Center of Science and Culture, in collaboration with Study Abroad Educational Consultants, will host the 20th Russian Education Fair, 2022, on July 28 in Madurai.
14 Russian universities recognized by the National Medical Commission of India will participate in the education fair, representatives who spoke to the media here on Monday stated.
The fair, according to C. Suresh Babu, director of Study Abroad Educational Consultants, would do away with middlemen since parents and kids could speak directly with university representatives about questions regarding pricing structures, hostel amenities, etc. For MBBS and engineering programmes, spot admissions were expected from the universities for MBBS and engineering programmes.
Russian undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs are open to interested individuals who have passed the National Eligibility Completion Entrance Test (NEET) and earned a minimum grade of 50% in the pertinent core topics or degrees, or 40% in the case of SC/ST and OBC students.
All courses, according to Mr. Babu, are accessible to pupils at Tamil-medium schools as well. “A month before the start of the school year, we would offer a pre-departure language class. Many of our kids with such backgrounds have done well.
For the past 60 years, students from India have always received special treatment, according to Timur Akhamatov, Vice Dean of Foreign Students Education and Senior Lecturer (Pathology Department) at Kazan State Medical University.
Additionally, Mr. Babu stated that students who had returned to India from Ukraine might enroll in any Russian college for the same fee they had previously paid. Special seats had been set aside for students who applied to resume their studies from the semester they had to stop. The educational front was unaffected because the territorial conflict was far from Russia’s major cities.
The Madurai Residency will host the entry-free fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
