The syllabus for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) exam 2023 has been issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). As per the notice, the exam will be scheduled in January next year. The drive aims to fill about 46,500 posts.
At the start of 2022, the Education Department released the syllabus. However, since then, it has been changed twice. The syllabus and pattern of the teacher recruitment exam has been altered drastically. According to the new syllabus, the REET 2023 will be of 300 marks. There will be 150 multiple choice questions and the candidates will have the duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes to finish the exam. For each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of one-third of the marks.
The REET 2022 exam was conducted on 23rd and 24th July in two shifts. Around 16 lakh candidates gave the exam. The education board released the question booklet for all papers and shifts recently. All these question papers can be accessed via the official website. The answer key for the exam is expected to be shared soon. It is recommended that candidates print out the question paper so that they can use it as a reference after the answer key is released.Â
The REET exam is for the candidates who want to be teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in schools affiliated with the Education Department of the Government of Rajasthan.Â
