Estimated 75,613 candidates applied for social studies, Mathematics, and science (19,784) and English language (15,883) In the Kannada Medium
On the 18th of August 2022, Wednesday, 15,000 vacancy results of Primary school teachers (graduate) in government schools were announced by The Karnataka School Education and Literacy department.
As per the Data of Education Department, A total of 1,16,223 candidates have applied and from those 74,923 candidates who attended the papers, from that also only 54,342 candidates were eligible to write and 20,581 candidates were ineligible for the exam
It has been stated that the highest number of candidates applied for the subject of Social Science, around 75,613 applied for this subject, for science 19,874 and mathematics 15,883 in the Kannada medium.
The highest numbers of candidates are from the Chikkodi District, somewhere 11,119 are from this district, it’s followed by Mysore which has 8,576 candidates, and then from Bengaluru including south, north, and rural with 4,551.
The total vacancies available for the English Language is 1,807 and the number of candidates applied for that position is 9,190, for the social science vacancy available is 4,693 and candidates applied for that position is 33,366, for the mathematics vacancies available are 6,500 and candidates applied for that 9,050 and the biological science vacancy available is 2,000 and eligible candidates are 2,736 for primary school teachers of standard 6-8.
