The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the counselling dates for the NEET UG 2022.

MCC will release the counselling dates for NEET UG 2022 soon on the official website mcc.nic.in. NEET UG is a national level entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BE, B.Tech, BArch and BPlan courses offered by various medical, engineering and dental colleges in India. NEET UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The counselling process for 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges and 100 per cent in deemed/ central universities including seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU and AMU will be conducted by MCC.

The academic year of 2021-2022 will see 91,927 MBBS seats, 27,698 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, and 603 BVSc and AH seats offered in 612 medical and 317 dental colleges. The admissions process for these seats will be done through the NEET UG 2022 all-India merit list and percentile score. Candidates who wish to take admission in MBBS or BDS courses offered by AIIMS, JIPMER, Central Universities, ESIC Medical Colleges and Deemed Universities must register themselves on the MCC website.

Documents Required

Are you planning on registering for the NEET UG Counselling in 2022? If so, please make sure that you have the following documents ready in softcopy form before proceeding:

  • NEET rank cards and admit cards
  • Candidate photograph
  • Candidate signature
  • Document of Birth
  • Certificate of Qualification
  • Category certificate (Other than general)
  • Character reference
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Identity documentation (such as an Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, pan card, driving license, or ration card)

On September 7, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the NEET UG 2022. Out of the 17,64,571 candidates who took the test, 9,93,069 passed, representing a 56.27% pass rate.

For neet registration related with counselling, I think candidates should be given alternative process also . Application id and DOB were considered for downloading City allotment, Admit Card and result also. So why not application id and DOB may be considered for doing registration for counselling at MCC portal?
MCC should have to think over the issue very carefully. And do hope for positive response from NTA and MCC.
