CUET UG Admissions: JMI will release first merit list on September 26, Know the complete schedule

JMI UG Admission 2022: Merit lists for second, third and fourth place will be announced on October 6, 17, and 26 respectively.

The first list of selected candidates for UG admission at Jamia Millia Islamia University will be released on September 26 through the Common University Entrance Test, or CUET. Those who applied for UG programmes at JMI will be able to check the merit list on the official website– jmicoe.in.

UGC has released a tentative timeline for UG admissions in the central universities, which includes the last date of the application form, admission process, criteria for preparing the merit list and tentative date of commencement of classes.

The Jamia Millia Islamia Admission through CUET will be offered for the following programs:

  • BA (Hons) in Turkish Language and Literature
  • BA (Hons) in Sanskrit
  • BA (Hons) in French and Francophone Studies
  • BA (Hons) in Spanish and Latin American Studies
  • BA ( Hons) in History
  • BA(Hons) in Hindi
  • BA (Hons) in Economics
  • BSc in Biotechnology
  • BVoc in Solar Energy 
  • BSc (Hons) in Physics.

“The rank list will be published based on the final rank of CUET 2022, strictly as per merit and muslim minority policy of JMI,” said an official notification

Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), University of Allahabad and several other central universities have started their UG admission process for 2022 through CUET. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the CUET UG result for 2022 on September 16, 2022, on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. UGC informed that the rank lists will be prepared by universities based on “normalized” scores and not percentile or raw marks.
