CBSE Extends the Application Deadline for the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme to November 30

Eligible students who wish to apply for the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme for 2022 or renew their application from last year can do so at cbse.gov.in.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the deadline to register for the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme for 2022 has been extended until November 30th.
Eligible students who wish to apply for the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme for 2022 or renew their application from last year can do so on the CBSE official website. Schools will have until December 7th to verify and confirm applications.
The CBSE provides scholarships for single girl children studying in CBSE and affiliated schools who have passed Class 10 with 60% marks in the first five subjects. The scheme was started by the board in 2006.

“All other details and eligibility requirements can be found on the Board’s website under the Scholarship link along with the online application form,” reads CBSE’s latest notification.
How to apply for single girl child scholarship scheme
- To apply for the Single Girl Child Scholarship for 2022, go to the CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in, and scroll down to the scholarships section.
- Then, find the “Guidelines and Application Forms 2022/Apply Online” link and click on it.
- Next, click on the ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship – 2022’ for a fresh application.
- Alternatively, you can click on “CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child of Class X for Renewal” if you are renewing your application.
- You will need to enter your roll number and date of birth to fill out the form. Please double-check all the details before submitting the form.
- After submission, your school will verify your SGCS-X application.
