IIT Delhi Placements 2022: IIT Delhi Records Highest Placement Ever With 1.3K Job Offers
This is the first time the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has received this many job offers in the placement season on campus. The season will continue till the end of May.
The Delhi’s Institute of Indian Technology (IIT-D) students have received more than 1,300 job offers so far during the placement season, with over 1,150 students being selected in the first phase alone. This includes more than 260 pre-placement offers.
This is the first time ever that the institute has received this many job offers in the placement session up to December 15. The placement season will continue till the end of May 2023.
According to recent data from IIT Delhi, the number of offers and unique selections is both at an all-time high. There has been a 10% increase in the number of unique selections during this period compared to last year. Even the number of PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) this year is the highest ever.

In spite of the current IT layoffs globally, over 30 international organizations have extended job offers to students from 15 different countries. These offers include 20 different job profiles across countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This also includes six international pre-placement offers.
Most of the job offers available have been in students’ technical core subjects. IT and analytics are essential to departments like computer science, mathematics, computing, etc. Many companies recruiting under the finance track are looking for fintech roles. Additionally, students from management studies usually go for management roles.
