IIT Delhi offers a comparable course in BTech biochemical engineering and biotechnology, whereas IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee provide BTech in biotechnology.
BTech in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - course schedule and seating chart
It is an eight-semester, four-year, full-time undergraduate programme. Candidates will have to take 7 to 8 subjects per semester. Students will be taught modern physics, fundamental bioinformatics, English communication, and an introduction to bio-nanotechnology throughout the first semester.
