CUET UG 2023: Admissions, eligibility, top courses, scholarships, and more

The Delhi University has published a list of 20 scholarships for students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate programs for the academic year 2022–2023
CUET UG 2023: The eligibility requirements for admissions to undergraduate programs through CUET were announced by the University of Delhi today. The criteria are unchanged from the previous year. The eligibility requirements for admission to the university are available on the university’s official website, adnission.uod.ac.in, for DU aspirants to review.
The university also announced that CUET will be used as the basis for admissions to the College of Art’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program. Delhi University adopted the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) for admissions in all UG courses like BCom, BA, BTech, BSc, and more starting last year. This university accepts students from all over India and abroad. Post-graduate admissions at the university will also be handled by CUET PG as of the upcoming academic year.
91 colleges are affiliated with DU, which has three campuses: the south campus, the north campus, and off campus. The application process, available scholarships, and other information about admission to Delhi University are provided below.
CUET
CUET UGC 2023 Following the implementation of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), Delhi University received applications for its undergraduate programs from nearly 2.17 lakh candidates last year. There were about 70,000 undergraduate seats available, and a total of 64,915 students were enrolled in those seats.
CUET Popular courses
BCom was offered in 21 colleges and BCom (Honors) was offered in 14 colleges, accounting for 35 of the top 50 courses offered at Delhi University in 2022. The list also included BA (Hons) in Political Science in five colleges, BA (Hons) in History in two colleges, BA (Hons) in English in eight colleges, and BA (Hons) in History in two colleges.
The lowest CUET score required for admission to the Hindu College Political Science Honours program last year was 797.82/800. This program is one of the most well-liked in the university and had a 100% cut-off in 2021. If expressed in percentage terms, this would be 99.73.
The lowest CUET score required for admission to the BA (Hons) Psychology program at LSR College was 795.086/800, or roughly 99.38%.

Scholarships
The Delhi University has published a list of 20 scholarships for students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate programs for the academic year 2022–2023 The deadline for submitting an application has been extended to February 15 for these scholarships, which are open to students from all DU affiliated colleges. The day before was January 31.

There are numerous scholarships on the list, such as the Dr. VKRV. Rao Endowment Book-Grant, the Sh. Prem Prakash Award, the Delhi University and College Karamchari Union Book-Grant, the Delhi State Co-operative Union Book-Grant, Pt. Man Mohan Nath Dhar Book-Grant, the Sardar Kartar Singh Grover Memorial Book-Grant, the Ganga Sant Book-Grant, the Puran Chand Khatri Book-grant.
Students who fall under the SC, ST, and OBC categories are given state-funded merit scholarships. For consideration for this scholarship, a student’s previous academic year grade must have been at least 60%. For students in the SC and ST categories, there is no upper income limit, but OBC students must have a household income of less than Rs 3 lakh per year.
Placements
Students can receive help with job placement, career counseling, and self- or social entrepreneurship from the Central Placement Cell at the University of Delhi. The cell organizes job fair-style drives where a wide range of businesses present internship and employment opportunities in a variety of fields. Burger Singh, Bird Worldwide Flight Pvt Ltd, ABP News Network, Vivo India, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Vistara, and other notable employers are major CPC recruiters.
Every DU affiliated college has its own placement cell in addition to CPC to serve as a conduit between the business community and the students.
