Some candidates get a special physical standard because of their genetic background, and in some cases the sections they are applying to. If the candidate is a sportsperson, belongs to a chronically poor area, or is the son of servicemen, war widows, ex-servicemen, and widows of servicemen, adopted son/son-in-law of a war widow, there is some relaxation in the standards applicable.
