These individuals become pharmacists after the completion of the course. It can be pursued by students right after class 12th and it does not require any medical entrance exam like NEET for the admission, although few colleges might have their own entrance examinations for their admission process

For a 6-year Pharm D

For the Doctor of Pharmacy, Candidates must have completed Class 12 from any state/national education board. They must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology as additional subjects. They must have completed 17 years of age in the year of admission.

If you wish to pursue entrepreneurship and work in your own pharmacy then a D. Pharm program is best suited for you. On the other hand, if you want to pursue research-based jobs and higher education in pharmaceutical science then a B. Pharm is the right program for you.

Yes it is difficult course but you can not compare it with MBBS, Both courses are hard in their own way. MBBS belongs to core medical but Pharmacy is a paramedical professional course. but it will be very easy for you, if you willing to learn about life sciences, chemistry and etc.

Even professionals who hold a Diploma in Pharmacy go on to earn a good annual package at the beginning of their career. Hence, Pharmacy is one of the most sought-after professions for anyone who wants to become financially independent at a young age, especially women.
