NIT BhopalEstablished by the joint efforts of Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Government of India way back in 1960 was the first regional engineering college of the country. The college was named after first Union Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a great scholar and education reformist himself. It is known as Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology or MANIT. The Institute is currently home to 200 faculties and 4000 students.
The Institute is spread across 650-acre campus. It has 8 hostels which has good fooding and lodging facilities along with 24 hours security. The other facilitoes available at    MANIT are MANIT’s Computer Centre, Canteen, Workshops, Athletic Ground, Energy Centre and the open air auditorium. MANIT helps them to grow with confidence as mature individuals.
