A trusted name among B-schools in India, AIMS School of Business, formerly known as Acharya Institute of Management Studies, has managed to produce some of the best management executives in the country. Management courses offered
For the academic year 2015, AIMS offers course in Post Graduate Diploma In Management (PGDM) with specialization in different fields. This is a 4-semester course, and students seeking admission will be evaluated on the basis of written test and internal assessment. The evaluation is based on academic accomplishments, analytical, communication and presentation capabilities.
AIMS also offers Masters in Business Management (MBA). This is a two years full time course with specialization in HR, marketing, Finance and other host of disciplines. For admission for the academic year 2015, one needs to appear for aptitude test that is followed by internal assessment by the management. Here too, the evaluation is based on academic accomplishments, analytical, communication and presentation capabilities.
For 2015-17, the courses fees is approximately Rs. 8.1 lakh.
Admission criteria
- 60 percentile or above in MAT / CAT 2014 / XAT 2015/ GMAT/ CMAT 2015 – 2016 score
- 50% or above in graduation
- Candidates with at least 1 year of work experience preferred

Job placements
AIMS has a committed placement group that takes all effort to have sound industrial relations. Top companies flock from the IT hub to grab the best candidates. Some top recruiters in 2014-15 were IBM, ICICI, Federal Bank, Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd etc. The average pay package stands at Rs.4.7 lakh, while the maximum salary can range anywhere between Rs.13-15 lakh per annum.
