Foreign Degrees:

The Bar Council of India recognizes foreign degree as well. Any person who has studied law from foreign university / institution and wants to serve in India, requires registering with the Bar Council of India. The council has complete guidelines for recognition of foreign degrees and registration. List of Law Colleges

The colleges / departments / universities / institutions providing any degree in law in India require approval from Bar Council of India (BCI). It is also recommended to the aspirants that they should pursue law from institutions recognized by Bar Council of India .
