NSD Fee Structure

The fee structure for three year course in Dramatic Arts is as follows
| Admission | Rs. 50.00 /- |
| Tuition Fee | Rs. 80.00 per month |
| Costume for Exercise Classes | Rs. 800.00 per month |
| Caution Money (refundable) | Rs. 2000.00/- |
| Advance for Make-up Kit (adjustable) | Rs. 1000.00/- |
| Students’ Union (membership fee) | Rs. 24.00/- |
| Stationary | Rs. 800.00/- |
| Hostel Rent per seat | Rs. 110.00 per month |
| Electricity and Water Charges (adjustable) | Rs. 40.00 per month |
| Hostel Expenses | Rs. 14.00 per month |
| Medical Fee | Rs. 1.00 per month |
| Mess Charges | Rs. 650.00 per month (likely to vary from one month to another) |
Scholarships
All those candidates who are selected to the course are awarded a monthly scholarship of Rs.3000 (Rupees three thousand only).
However, at the time of availing scholarship, the school asks a student to sign a bond of Rs.72, 000 on the ground that if the candidate discontinue the training before the end of three years, or is made to discontinue on disciplinary grounds, he/she would refund the entire amount availed in the form of scholarship before leaving.
Besides, the school also asks a student to provide a surety of Rs.72, 000 duly attested by a District Magistrate/Collector/ Dy. Commissioner (Revenue Authorities).
NSD provides a life insurance cover to all its selected students through a Risk Cover Insurance Policy. Each selected candidate is required to pay an annual premium that ranges from Rs.150 to Rs.200.
