Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa was established by the Government of Haryana in the year 2003. The University, located at Sirsa at a distance of 256 kms from Delhi and 285 from Chandigarh, has a sprawling campus of 348 acres on the Barnala Road. The National Highway No. 10 and the Delhi-Rewari-Bathinda Railway Line pass through Sirsa.

Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) has set up the University Centre for Distance Learning to offer job-oriented courses through Distance Education Mode. The University is recognized by the Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi. The Distance Education Council has provisionally recognized the course run by University Centre for Distance Learning.

The University has total 16 academic departments, which offer 21 careers oriented and specialized courses to the students. It also offers job-oriented courses through distance education.

Courses Offered:

CDLU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in different fields such as Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Law, Postgraduate courses including Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts, Master of Computer Application, Master of Commerce, Master of Physical Education, Master of Science, Master of Technology.

Admissions:

Candidates will have to apply for admission in ONLINE mode only. Online application submission involves logging into the university website www.cdlu.ac.in and www.erpcdlu.ac.in. The candidates will have to deposit the application fee (Rs. 100/- for SC/BC/DAP/EBP and for General category full 400/- and for others) in. Account No. 15172121009728 in any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce through a challan which will be printed during online submission of application forms.
