MP Government to Bear College Fees of Medical, Engineering Students with more than 75% in 12th Exam
A few days ago, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that it would be restoring the class 12 performance criterion of 75 percent for qualifying JEE Main 2023. This announcement of scholarship/ financial rewards comes shortly after.
The Madhya Pradesh state government has announced a new incentive for high-performing students. If a student scores more than 75% in their class 12 exams, the state government will cover their engineering and/or medical college fees. This is a great way to encourage students to do their best and pursue higher education!
“I already give laptops to students who scored more than 75% in their 12th standard exams. Now, I will also bear the fees of medical college, engineering college, IIT, and law college,” said the state chief minister.
This announcement of financial aid comes a few days after the National Testing Agency (NTA) recently restored the class 12 performance criterion of 75 percent for qualifying JEE Main 2023.

The NTA has announced that admissions to BE / BTech / BArch / BPlanning courses in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs will be based on All India Rank, subject to the condition that the candidate has secured at least 75 per cent marks in Class 12.
In addition to this, the CM also announced that the state government has decided to develop playgrounds in 110 villages. His government has also launched 10 lakh new government jobs and is in the process of filling them.
