The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the exam date for the AFCAT 02/2023 batch recruitment. The exam will be held from August 25 to 27, 2023, and there are 276 vacancies available.

All applicants who have submitted their applications by the due date will be called for the exam. The exam will be held in English and will consist of objective-type questions covering General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.

The marking scheme for the AFCAT exam is as follows: three marks for each correct answer, one mark deducted for each incorrect answer, and no marks for unattempted questions.

The engagement period for Flying Branch (Men and Women) SSC Officers is fourteen years from the date of Commissioning. Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) SSC Officers will have an initial tenure of ten years, which may be extended for four years based on service requirements, vacancies, willingness, suitability, and merit. The grant of Permanent Commission (PC) will be considered at a later date, subject to prevailing policies and criteria.

  4. Verify the details on your admit card, such as your name, roll number, exam date, time, and venue.
  5. If all the details are correct, click on the “Download Admit Card” or “Print Admit Card” button to save the admit card on your device.
  6. Take a clear printout of the admit card on A4-size paper and keep it safe for the examination day.
