The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will be organizing the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Examination Postgraduate) specifically for candidates from the north-eastern states and those who were affected by the Gujarat cyclone. The exams are scheduled to take place from June 21 to June 23.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will be conducting the Common University Entrance Examination Postgraduate (CUET PG) for candidates who were unable to appear for the exams between June 5 and June 17. Approximately 44,078 candidates were unable to participate in the university entrance test during the designated period. The NTA has scheduled the CUET PG exams for these remaining candidates from June 21 to June 23, with June 24 and June 25 being kept as buffer dates.
The CUET PG exams, which began on June 5, will continue until June 17 for over eight lakh candidates across 245 cities. However, due to logistical constraints, a significant number of candidates were unable to be accommodated during this initial period.
To address this issue, the NTA has provided instructions for the affected candidates. According to the NTA, “The aforementioned examination will be conducted, and the schedule will be uploaded on the NTA website(s) www.nta.ac.in and https://cuet.nta.nic.in.” Furthermore, the NTA has taken into consideration candidates from the North-Eastern States who were assigned examination centers outside their respective states and cannot travel. These candidates will be accommodated in the examination schedule for the remaining candidates based on their requests submitted to [email protected].
Additionally, the NTA has acknowledged the disruption caused by the cyclone in Gujarat and will reschedule exams at centers where the examination could not be conducted due to the cyclone.
For any queries or difficulties faced by candidates, the NTA has provided helpline numbers for assistance. Candidates experiencing issues with downloading or checking the examination city intimation slip or admit card can reach out to [email protected] or contact 011-40759000 or 011-69227700 for support.
