NIRF 2023 Rankings place NMIMS among India's top 50 Management Institutes

The NMIMS is ranked 21st among Management Institutes, 88th overall, and 47th among the best 100 Universities. It ranks 11th in the category of Pharmacy Institutes.
As of Monday’s release of the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 by the Ministry of Education, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) maintains its position among the top 50 Management Institutes in the country, despite allegations of distance learning violations.
The NMIMS is ranked 21st among management institutes, 88th altogether, and 47th among the top 100 universities. It ranks eleventh in the category of pharmacy institutes. Last year, NMIMS rated 25th in the category of national management institutes.
Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Vice Chancellor of NMIMS University, stated :
“The recent NIRF classification, which places NMIMS among the top 50 institutes in the country, demonstrates the University’s exceptional performance. Our improved overall ranking is due to our constant fulfillment of academic excellence, industry collaborations, and holistic student development.”
He also added :
“The extraordinary four-notch rise of our School of Business Management (SBM) to the 21st position demonstrates our dedication to providing a world-class management education. The consistent rank of 11 for our Pharmacy School for two consecutive years reflects the dedication of our faculty and the quality of education imparted.”
