Jobs after GATE exam: GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores are not just being used by the IITs and IISc. Bangalore for admission to their postgraduate engineering and sciences as well as doctoral degree programs, but they’re also increasingly becoming a ticket to jobs in the public sector domain in India.
An increasing number of public sector undertakings (PSUs) have started accepting GATE scores for screening potential salaried employees for lucrative jobs for varying engineering specialisations.
Last year 15 PSUs had signed MoUs with IIT Kanpur to receive the GATE 2023 results across various subject papers.
Online applications for GATE 2023 will begin from 2 September, 2022 and many PSUs have announced their recruitment for this year. Here’s a look at some of the Indian public corporations that have been offering engineering jobs after GATE exams and may do the same this year as well!
