JEE Advanced 2022: The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced is a national-level engineering entrance exam that is conducted every year by one of the seven IITs of India. This year, 2022, the JEE advanced was conducted by IIT Bombay.
Only 2.5 lakh students that scored well in JEE Main get the opportunity to appear for JEE advanced.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to appear for JEE advance 2022 should check the eligibility criteria listed below:
- Performance in JEE Main: To be eligible for JEE advance, candidates must have cleared JEE main and have ranked among top 2,50,000.
- Age Limit : Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1997. However, Candidate who is of SC or ST criteria will be given 5 years relaxation time and therefore can be born on or after October 1, 1992.
- Number of Attempts: A candidate can have two attempts at JEE advance in two consecutive years.
- Appearance in 12th or equivalent exam: Any candidate appearing for JEE advanced should have qualified 10+2 examination.
JEE Advanced 2022 Admission Process

- Register for JEE Mains on the official website.
- Appear for the JEE Mains and rank in the top 2.5 lakhs students.
- Register for JEE Advanced on the official website.
- Download the admit card when released and take print out for future reference.
- Appear for the JEE advance 2022.
- Check the results when released.
- After result announcement, apply for JoSAA counselling for seat allotment in the IITs.

JEE Advanced 2022 Counselling - JoSAA
The Counselling process for getting admission into the IITs is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) in online mode. Only candidates who have ranked in the JEE advanced 2022 are eligible for JoSSA counselling process.
All eligible candidates can apply for the counselling by filling in their choices of course and institute.
