KEAM 2022: The Kerala Engineering, Agriculture And Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) is conducted on the behalf of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. Students who wish to earn a degree in engineering, agriculture, medical, architecture or veterinary courses write the KEAM examination for admission into first year undergraduate programs.
KEAM 2022 contains a wide number of subjects, but students have to select a subject of their choice per requirement and eligibility criteria. The KEAM 2022 score can impact offers for seats in the following programs:
Separate entrance examinations for admission to engineering courses will be conducted by the CEE and the allotment is often based on the rank in these entrance examinations.
Candidates seeking admission to the B.Arch. course should compulsorily appear and qualify for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA).
Entrance examinations will be held at certain venues in all districts in Kerala, New Delhi and Dubai (UAE), on the dates mentioned below as per Indian Standard Time (IST).

Only one application should be submitted for the entrance examinations for admission to all courses.
Keralite candidates who do not claim any reservation benefit or those belonging to the Non-Keralite category can apply online. Instructions on how to apply are available on the official website. On successful submission of the data online, an application number will be generated.
You may pay the application fee in any one of these ways: a security card and prospectus is available at select post offices in Kerala and outside the state upon payment of the fee by cash (listed above). You may also pay by demand draft drawn on a Nationalized/Schedule Bank. It should be in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Online application can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking.
The online application process will be completed only on receipt of the printout of the application along with all requisite certificates, in the office of the CEE.
Candidates, who choose Dubai as their centre for entrance examinations should submit along with their filled in application form, a demand draft for Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. These candidates should note that the examinations are conducted as per Indian Standard Time (IST).
Undergraduate students seeking admission in professional institutes in Kerala should appear for KEAM 2022. candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on the 31stDecember 2019No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit for KEAM–2022.Â
Applicants should be Indian citizens. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will be treated as an Indian citizen for the purpose of admission.
Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the entrance examination. Applicants of Kerala origin will be categorized as Keralites. Others will be categorized as Non-Keralites. Non-Keralites are classified as Non-Keralite Category I and Non-Keralite Category II.

Medical/Agriculture/Veterinary/B.Sc.-Nursing (Ayurveda) and B.Pharm. (Ayurveda) Courses: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50 percent marks in physics, chemistry and biology put together.
BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates seeking admission to the BVSc. & AH course under the Kerala Agricultural University, in addition to the qualification of passing the Higher Secondary Examination with 50 percent marks in physics, chemistry and biology, should have passed the qualifying examination with at least 50 percent aggregate marks in English, physics, chemistry and biology (as per the regulation of the Veterinary Council of India).
B.Sc.Hon (Agri)/B.Sc.Hon(Forestry), BFSc Courses: Candidates are eligible if they have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent exams with 50percent marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
Engineering Courses: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent exams, with 50 percent marks in mathematics only, and 50 percent marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry combined, are eligible for admission.
Candidates having a three-year Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, Kerala or equivalent, having 50 percent marks in the final Diploma examination, are also eligible for admission. However, these diploma holders are not eligible for admission to the engineering courses offered by Kerala Agricultural University.
Architecture Courses: Candidates should have the 10+2 or equivalent with 50 percent aggregate marks, or any 10+3 Diploma recognized by central or state governments, or an International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with at least 50 percent aggregate marks and mathematics as an exam subject.
Only candidates scoring 40 percent on NATA are considered for admission to the course. No candidates in any category will receive relaxation of passing score minimum.
Relaxation in marks in the qualifying examination: For all courses, a relaxation of 5 percent marks in the qualifying examination will be allowed to those candidates who belong to the communities listed under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and whose annual family income is up to Rs. 4.5 lakhs (Rupees Four Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only).
SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. When only grades are provided, a grade covering 45 percent marks is considered criterion for eligibility. For all courses (excepting MBBS/BDS), SEBC and PD candidates (with Locomotory disability between 40 percent to 70 percent of the lower limbs) have a relaxation of 5 percent marks in the qualifying exam.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories need 40 percent marks in physics, chemistry and biology put together in the qualifying examination and 40 percent marks in the Entrance Examination for seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses. For further details on marks requirements, refer to CEE, Kerala.
Candidates appearing for qualifying examinations: Candidates who have not passed the qualifying examination but have appeared/are appearing for the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination or the three-year Engineering Diploma Examination of this academic year, will also be permitted to take the entrance examination(s) provisionally. But, such candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission.

The Admit Cards of entrance examinations can be downloaded from the CEE, Kerala website from 10 April 2022. The printout of the admit card thus obtained will have to be produced at the time of examination. Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
Candidates are required to enter their application number and date of birth as given in the application form in order to generate their online Admit Card. Candidates must note that a photocopy of an already printed Admit Card will not be accepted. Also, a candidate must affix his/her signature in the space provided on the Admit Card.
