JMI MBA Part Time 2012

Jamia Millia Islamia – Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers M.B.A. Evening program for in-service practicing personals and working executives. The total no. of seats offered in this program is 60. The degree awarded through this program is equivalent to any other M.B.A. regular program. Admission is offered on the basis of entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria For JMI MBA Part Time

• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in any stream from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
• A minimum of 2 years professional experience is mandatory after completion of qualifying degree program.

The selection to MBA – Evening program is made on the basis of Written Test, Professional Experience and Interview. The duration of test is 3 hours. A 130 marks weightage is allotted for written test, 30 marks weightage for interview and 40 marks weightage for professional experience. Only those candidates are called for Interview, who qualifies in the written test.

Syllabus For JMI MBA Part Time

Qualitative Capability: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, percentage, interest, average, ratio proportion, profit and loss, geometric series, roots, progression series, etc. It may also include simple questions in algebra and geometry.

Verbal Capability: This section of the test is aimed at testing the verbal ability of candidates in day-to-day communication in English. It may include question on synonyms, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, singular plural, till in the blanks, one word substitution, idioms and phrases, coerce t spellings etc.

Language Comprehension: The candidates can expect passages on general topics such as commerce, industry, economy, business, history, etc.

Analytical Capability: The ability of candidate is tested to deduce inferences from data presented in tables, graphs, bar charges, pie charts etc. It may also include questions on analytical reasoning.

Business Environment: This portion of the test may include questions on macro and micro environments of business, Economy, Business, Trade, Banking and entrepreneurship, etc.

Placement For JMI MBA Part Time

All the students of this program are placed at middle level and senior level managerial positions. This program provides an extensive value addition to working  executives and facilitates holistic thinking in problem solving skills. M.B.A. (Part-time) program pass outs form Jamia Millia Islamia are working at senior positions in public sector, private sector and multinational corporations. They are well placed in India, Canada, Australia, Gulf, USA and other parts of the world.
