As you can see, IIM Kozhikode has released the overall CAT percentile and sectional percentile along with the Class X and Class XII percentile as well. For General Category candidates the cutoff percentile for CAT stands at 90 while the lowest is 55 for ST and PWD candidates.

A preliminary shortlisting is carried out once you have registered with IIM Kozhikode and is based on your CAT 2016 score percentile, sectional percentile, SSC (class X) and HSC (class XII) percentage. The minimum cut-off requirements across different categories is as follows:

Your SSC and HSC marks submitted by you at time of CAT registration will be used for creating this shortlist.
Next, an Aggregate Index Score is calculated for all students who qualify the preliminary shortlisting. This score will take into account performance in CAT 2016, Bachelor’s degree and
If shortlisted on basis of your Aggregate Index Score, you will be required to register on the official website and complete a personal form online.
The next stage in the admission process is the Group Discussion (GD)/ Written Ability Test (WAT), followed by a personal interview (PI). Final scores are calculated and admission offers are sent out in the first week of May 2014 based on the following parameters:

(a)Â If you are an Indian or foreign national studying or working outside India, you can apply as an NRI/foreign candidate. You must hold a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years after 10+2 secondary schooling with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA by a university recognized by the Government of India. You can also apply if you are in the final year of graduation and must submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of your college/institute
(b)Â You must also produce a certificate from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of the country you are based at, stating your continued residence in that country for 18 months or more as on 31 December, 2016.
You must produce a Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score taken within the last one year with a total scaled score of at least 700. You must also produce a TOEFL score if you are a foreign national, along with valid passport or travel document from the country you are travelling. You will also be required to produce three letters of recommendation.
All other steps in the admission to MBA programme at IIM Kozhikode are same as that of domestic candidates. Personal interviews are held in India and you will need to make your own travel arrangements for the same.
