Indian Institute of Management Raipur is the tenth Indian Institute of Management in the Country set up in 2010 by the Indian Government. Raipur is the capital of Chattisgarh, a newly formed state of India in the year 2000. IIM Raipur came into function since 11th October 2010 under the Directorship of Mr.B.S Sahay.
A 200 acres of land have been identified for the IIM Raipur campus by the Government of Chattisgarh in Naya Raipur. Currently IIM Raipur is operational from a building named Sejbahar at the Government Engineering College of Raipur.
IIM Raipur campus is under construction and it is spread over 200 acres of land in Naya Raipur. It is temporarily functioning from a spacious building named Sejbahar at the Government Engineering College of Raipur.
Raipur is the capital of the Indian state of Chattisgarh. It is well connected to the major cities through railways, airways and roadways. It is located in central India with a tropical wet and dry climate.

IIM Raipur offer a 2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is a flagship course in all the IIMs across India. This course is a mix of compulsory and elective subjects and it is divided into 6 terms of 3 months each.
Admission to IIM Raipur is a very competitive process and it takes place though the common entrance test called CAT (Common Application Test). It is held in November/December each year.
