The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is held four times in a year for international students, in the months of October, December, March, and May. SAT tests are owned and provided by College Board, a non-profit organisation in the USA. Candidates who wish to appear for the SAT tests can register online or by mail. Students registering for the first time can not register ONLINE. Students can Register by mail only.
To register by mail, SAT Registration Booklet with Registration Form and Return envelope is required.
The completed registration form must be returned in the envelope provided with proper payment.
The SAT Registration Booklet contains test dates, registration deadlines, fees, instructions, test center codes and other registration-related information.
1. Candidates have to fill in their personal information as the initial step to ensure that they can track their application and results.
2. Students have an option to create a profile on the website to make it available for prospective universities. This is not a mandatory step.
3. Candidates have to choose their test date and center by entering their area code and finding nearby centers accordingly.
4. A photo of the candidate is to be uploaded for identification.
5. Candidates are advised to go over their registration information during the checkout procedure to ensure everything is correctly entered.Â
Special circumstances for SAT applicants:
One can appear for an exam on Sunday only if a candidate cannot take the test on Saturday due to a religious observance.

To register through a SAT Representative, complete the paper Registration Form and enclose it in the envelope bound to the center of the International Edition of the SAT Registration Booklet.

Tentative Schedule
SAT is conducted by College Board seven times a year in the U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories and six times a year overseas.
SAT (SAT Reasoning Test and SAT Subject Test) is conducted six times in a year in India.
