University Business School under Panjab University in Chandigarh offers postgraduate programmes in business management. The programmes and their eligibility criteria is given below:

MBA: This is a two year programme divided into 4 semesters. The course covers areas like Quantitative Methods and Management Techniques, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, Operations and Material Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management  and Small Business and Business Economics.

MBA (International Business): This is a two years course with specialization in International Business . The program focuses on Global Marketing Management, International Business Environment , International Financial Management and
International Marketing Logistics. The programme includes continuous workshops and seminars on international business and management.

MBA (Human Resource): This is also a two year full time MBA program with specialization in human resource. The main focus areas are Manpower Planning and Performance Appraisal, Negotiating Skills and Participative Decision Making, Industrial Sociology and Psychology, and Industrial Relations and Labour Policy.

MBA (Biotechnology): This is a unique program offered by UBS. It is a two year full time programme focusing on areas like Principles of Biotechnology, Business Process Re-Engineering and Biotechnological Operations. 

MBA (Executive): This is 3 year evening course divided into 6 semesters.

A. Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Business Administration International Business (MBA IB) / Master of Business Administration Human Resource (MBA HR)

Eligibility:

A Bachelor’s / Post graduate degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any other university which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Provided that in case of candidates having Bachelor’s degree of the University through Modern Indian Languages [Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi] and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognised by the Syndicate, 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together.

OR

A pass in the final examination conducted by either of the (a) institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England,(b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England,(c) Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

OR

AMIE examination with 50% marks or more after having passed the diploma examination with 60% marks or above and have at least 5 years research/teaching or professional experience
