A farmer clears the Odisha board class 10th Examination 2022 at the age of 58!

Angada Kanhar, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA from Phulbani successfully passed the BSE Odisha Class 10th exam by securing 72%.

The Board of Secondary Education 2022 (BSE):The Class 10 exam results were released by the Board of Secondary Education 2022 (BSE), Odisha on Wednesday. Phulbani MLA for the ruling BJD, Angada Kanhar, was one of the students who also celebrated his success. The 58-year-old Kanhar received 72 % on his Class 10th exam, passing. In the BSE Odisha Board of Secondary Education test, he received 364 out 500 marks

Notably, Kanhar, a farmer by profession, won the Phulbani seat for the first time on the BJD ticket in the 2019 Assembly elections. He had previously been chosen to serve as a Zilla Parishad member for the district’s Phiringia block.

Legislator Angada Kanhar said, “I was not able to give the test in 1978 due to some family issues. Later, I entered into Panchayat politics in 1984 and now serve people as an MLA. Today, I feel very happy as I finally appeared for the exam,”
