Arvind Kejriwal: Launching India’s First Virtual School, A Milestone for Indian Education

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed to be launching India’s first virtual school in the national capital. The Delhi Virtual Model School on August 31st, 2022, Wednesday. He said this virtual school will prove to be a “milestone” in Indian education.

Lessons are also recorded and shared with students to help them revise and get easy access.

Talking about virtual media CM quoted “There are many children who cannot go to school due to several issues. Also, many parents do not want their daughters to receive an education and thus they don’t want to send them out. However, we are starting this virtual school to ensure that all of them get educated, This idea is inspired by virtual classes that were adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic“.

He further added “The admission to the schooling platform will be open for students from across India and they will also be prepared by experts for entrance exams like NEET, CUET, and JEE along with skill-based training”

Arvind Kejriwal also listed the achievements of AAP governments towards revolutionizing education and also noted some steps have been taken to improve school infrastructure and quality delivery among classes and change some aspects of the school curriculum.

He also said some initiatives have also taken place to bring the underprivileged into the mainstream. For instance, schools for children seek alms on roads, Skill Universities, Happiness classes, Deshbhakti curriculum, and sports universities.
