CLAT 2023: Application Window to Close Today, Know How to Apply

The CLAT 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2022, in around 130 centers across India. Know how to apply and other details below

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will be closing the application form window for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) today, November 18, 2022. The consortium began registration for CLAT 2023 on August 8, 2022. 

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for CLAT 2023 can do so by registering online at the official website of the consortium – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. candidates are advised to complete the application form before the deadline today in order to be considered for admission.

The CLAT 2023 is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2022. The examination will be held in offline mode at allotted test centers in the pen-paper mode for 120 minutes duration (2 hours).

CLAT 2023: How to Apply 

Fill out the form by following these steps.

  1. Visit the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 
  2. On the homepage, click on the CLAT 2023 tab and then the login window.
  3.  Candidates will need to register themselves in order to generate login credentials. 
  4. Once registered, they should fill out the application form and upload all required documents. 
  5. Candidates will also need to pay the application fee and submit the form.
  6.  After submission, candidates should download the form and take a printout for future reference.

CLAT 2023: Documents Required for Application Form

Candidates who are filling out the CLAT 2023 application form need to upload the following documents:

  1. A front-facing passport-size photograph with a plain background
  2. The candidate’s signature
  3. A category certificate if the candidate is SC/ST/OBC
  4. Any relevant certificates issued by a competent authority in the case of PWD candidates and BPL category candidates.
  5. All documents or certificates should be uploaded as a PDF.

CLAT registration fee 2023

Candidates who belong to the General category need to pay an application fee of Rs 4,000 and candidates who belong to the SC/ST/BPL categories need to pay a discounted application fee of Rs 3,500.

All national law universities and other private institutes across India will accept your CLAT 2023 score for admission into their 5-year LLB programs as well as their one-year LLM programs.
