CUET UG 2023: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG)-2023 online applications will open on Thursday night (i.e., February 9, 2023), according to University Grants Commission (UGC) chairperson M Jagadesh Kumar. Other significant information regarding the conduct of the national-level exam was also made public by the UGC chairperson.

“Online submission of application form for CUET-UG for admission to undergraduate programs will start tonight. The last date for submission of applications is March 12, 2023. The announcement of the city of examination is on April 30. Downloading of Admit cards from the NTA website from the second week of May 2023,” Kumar said on Thursday.
The UGC chairman made the announcement that the exam date for the CUET (UG) 2023 is May 21, 2023.
The NTA administers the CUET (UG), a common entrance exam, for admission to undergraduate programs at all central institutions. The exam is a component of the new admissions program introduced for the academic year 2022–2023
The exam is administered in various segments at centers across the nation. Additionally, there were technological issues with the process during the exam in 2022, which led to the need for several places to hold a re-examination.
“The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and help establish better connect with the Universities,” the Ministry of Education said in a statement.
On February 7, the National Testing Agency (NTA) opened registration for the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 tests. The application form must be submitted by 7 March in order to be considered. The final week of March will see the release of exam admit cards.

Candidates who apply for up to three subjects must pay the following fees: 750 for general candidates, 700 for OBC candidates, 650 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender candidates, and 3750 for centers outside of India. Candidates in the general category must pay 1500/-, those in the OBC category must pay 1400/-, those in the SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender categories must pay 1300/-, and those applying through centers outside of India must pay 7500/-. The general category must pay 1750/- for up to 10 subjects, the OBC must pay 1650/-, the SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender must pay 1550/-, and centers outside of India must pay 11,000/-.
